CINEMATOGRAPHER & PHOTOGRAPHER - RYAN MORRISON, LLC (Johnston, Iowa  ı  January 2005 - Present)

• Wrote, filmed, directed, and edited 150+ high-quality marketing videos, amassing

  over 1 million impressions across platforms like YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, and

  Facebook, driving brand visibility for client company pages.

• Seamlessly collaborated with multiple teams to align with overarching marketing

  strategies and brand voice, consistently delivering creative projects punctually and

  within budgetary constraints.

• Showcased adaptability through capturing a diverse range of events, galas,

  classrooms, conferences, performances, headshots, and marketing campaigns.

• Gained extensive experience photographing dignitaries and public figures, adeptly

CREATIVE - APPLE (West Des Moines, Iowa  ı  January 2011 - November 2014)

• Facilitated more than one hundred personal training sessions in Apple’s

  professional applications Aperture, Final Cut Pro, and Logic Pro as well as Pages,

  Numbers, and Keynote to help a diverse set of learners understand their

  capabilities and reach their goals with the software.

• Created and conducted internal training curriculum for new Apple retail

  employees ensuring a smooth transition into the company.

• Deployed Apple corporate training for several companies by implementing iPads

  into their work environment and trained employees how to use them.

BOARD CHAIR - RISING DAISIES (Urbandale, Iowa & Ngata, Nakuru, Kenya ı November 2018 - Present)

• Leader of teams in Iowa and Kenya to finance school fees for 55 students,

  distribute sanitary products to 250+ girls, and establish mental health mentorship

  programs for all students in the schools.

• Spearheaded fundraising efforts through the pro-bono production of two

  impactful documentaries to raise over $50,000.

JUDGE

• Active member since 2020 of the National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences,

  contributing as a Regional Emmy® Awards Judging Team participant.

• Volunteer as a Silver Judging Council Member for the Telly Awards since 2021

  ensuring the recognition of excellence in the industry.

• Iowa State Fair 2024 judge on a team of three that curated a high caliber show

  from 800+ photographers and 2,500+ photos.

ADDITIONAL

• Collaborated with the non-profit CultureALL to teach students how to use

  photography to express their culture across several middle schools, high schools,

  and a course at Drake University from 2016 - 2022.

• Guest lecturer on photography at Hawkeye Community College in 2021.

• Created the company PosterZen in a startup incubator in 2013 where I gained

  experience with entrepreneurship and web development.

• Volunteer skills since 2019 as a portrait studio photographer at the EL Family

• Photo Event that gives printed family photos to immigrant and refugee families.

• Volunteer time to the ESL Clothing Drive since 2014, offering free clothing to

  families in need.
